About Me: I have gained the unique experiences of working with a variety of ages (birth to geriatric age) in different settings, including public schools, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation units/hospitals, and private practices. My experiences include, but are not limited to, working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder, language delays, and Speech Sound Disorders. I've also had the experience of working with children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices (from low/no-tech to high tech devices). The main goal of the services I provide is to ensure that my clients are being provided with applicable and functional skills that will translate into their everyday lives. This includes ensuring that parents/caregivers are involved in the child’s progress, providing them with the knowledge necessary to encourage progress from their child outside of our clinic, as well as including other professionals in the whole-person care of that child. Further, I find it necessary to maintain up-to-date knowledge about evidence-based practices and continuing education opportunities to ensure that your child is being provided the most effective, proven therapy that works for them and their personal development.
