About Me: My journey into occupational therapy began in a unique way—as a Clinical Support Specialist at a prosthetic clinic in sunny San Diego. After graduating, I relocated across the country to what I consider the most beautiful place in the U.S., where I lived from 2023 to 2025 and worked as both a Clinical Support Specialist and a licensed OT in school-based and early intervention settings. During this time, I gained experience across a variety of environments, including schools, prosthetic care, and in-home early intervention, working with clients from infancy through geriatrics. I also have professional experience working in the field ABA, acute care, and outpatient neuro and sports medicine rehabilitation. In 2024, I realized how much I missed working with the pediatric population, which led me to transition more fully into school-based practice. I especially enjoy one-on-one sessions that allow me to build meaningful relationships and witness growth over time. My clinical focus includes autism spectrum disorder, executive functioning, early intervention, and sensory processing. I use a play-based, child-centered approach to help children build confidence and functional skills, and I prioritize caregiver collaboration through education and home programming to support success across all environments. Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach, exploring local coffee shops, reading, working out, and enjoying the outdoors with my two dogs, Bamboo and Scotch.
