About Me: I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan including the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. My pediatric experience includes school-based, outpatient, in-home physical therapy services, and return to sport specific training. I have worked with children with orthopedic injuries, developmental delays, neurological impairments, and coordination disorders. Additionally, I have knowledge and experience fitting and providing education on the use of adaptive equipment. Currently, I am working towards becoming a Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) practitioner which will allow me to improve the functional abilities of children while using comprehensive techniques that stimulate neuroplasticity to achieve gross motor milestones. When working with children and their families, I like to take a holistic approach toward treatment including collaborating with families and other team members and applying evidence-based practices to increase the gross motor abilities and independence of my patients. I’m excited to be rejoining the KidSense family!
