About Me: Inspired by the satisfaction of assisting hearing impaired students learn through providing them with real time communication access, I decided to embark on a second career. My first affiliation with KidSense Therapy Group was as a student volunteer. Volunteering allowed me to increase my skill set by observing and learning from the staff of KidSense. Working with the children of KidSense was very rewarding to me while witnessing individual children’s growth. I continued to gain further clinical knowledge and experience implementing therapeutic strategies working as a COTA/L in a private school as well as a public school setting. I participated and collaborated with other staff in many IEP conferences. I am excited to be returning to KidSense as a staff member. I look forward to working with the staff, families, and the children of KidSense so each child may achieve their highest potential. My experience co-owning a communication access real-time business, Access Communications, as well as the Office Manager of a family-owned commercial real estate company contributes to a diverse range of understanding. My favorite activities are long morning walks on the beach and designing crafts. Spending time with my two grown children and our two labradoodles brings the greatest joy.
